My mother- a civil servant serving with the then Ministry of Social and Women’s affairs was often gone. She was either training teenage mothers in Kumba to acquire lifelong skills, or trying to get fathers provide child support to their kids in Manyemen, or teaching music to secondary school students at GSS Nguti or trekking hundreds of kilometers to Njungo to discuss development of the Nkongho-Mbo people.
